Welcome to Maiden!
Based in New Zealand and influenced by years of shift work and the colleagues that got us through it.
As our founder is a long time Emergency Registered Nurse, our name was inspired by both Hand Maiden and Fair Maiden; both of which we are not when it comes to our careers.
We know the realities of working in healthcare; we know all about the emotional fatigue, the dark humor and the social sacrifices. We know all about how your colleagues become your family and how dang proud you are to do the job you do - even on the days you consider throwing in the towel.
We're sure you've noticed there is a an underlying nursing bias and strong feminine energy here and that's exactly how we like it. But we also acknowledge we're just one big team at the end of the day, just like when we step on the floor and do what we do best, together.
Maiden is for anyone that can relate, with products to help support you emotionally and physically both on and off duty.
